It’s been four years since Paranormal Investigations Nova Scotia was first formed, and the group has definitely found their groove and filled a need in their corner of Canada.
Located in Truro, Nova Scotia, the investigators regularly travel, according to their website, to all points in Nova Scotia and across the Maritime Province. No case is too big or too small for the intrepid crew of investigators, who are equally comfortable investigating in private residences and historic buildings and museums and they never arrive empty handed.
“We have pretty much every manner of gear you can see on the mainstream television shows,” lead investigator Earl Lattie tells us, “including thermal gear, Kinect body mapping technology, and a lot of ITC equipment.”
In addition to their normal investigations, P.I.N.S. also regularly hosts events with Parks Canada. These events are open to the public and the investigators supervise as attendees use the P.I.N.S. equipment to gather evidence. After the events, Earl and his crew examine the evidence and compile it to show attendees the outcome of their efforts.
Like so many other groups of their kind, the search for the next piece of evidence never ends, and each of the groups members–most of whom have over 10 years of experience on their own–approach new locations with gusto and passion for the quest.
