Hello to all our loyal readers and those who are just discovering our site.  We are so glad that you have joined us on our journeys exploring the unknown at  I thought this might be a good time to introduce you to our writing staff, or rather, to let our writing staff introduce themselves!

So without further ado, here they are!

Rachel Pierce

At an early age, Rachel Pierce became interested in the paranormal. She grew up watching ghost hunting shows with her dad and always wanted to conduct an investigation of her own. It wasn’t until she went to college that she began doing so.  Rachel has captured EVPs (electronic voice phenomena), orbs, and has also experienced seeing an apparition while touring a haunted fort in Canada.

Recently, Rachel had the privilege of meeting Lorraine Warren and touring the Warren Occult Museum where she was facetoface with the Annabelle doll. This is a vast subject and she is excited to share her experiences and research with her readers!

Marcus Lyons

Besides a passionate and successful career in writing, Marcus Lyons first realized his intense interest in the paranormal at the age of eight when several inexplicable events took place and he discovered that the dead could communicate with him.  Since then, he has pursued the paranormal as an intuitive and investigator, and has turned his considerable skills to researching and writing about the paranormal on Informally known as the “paranormal paralegal,” Marcus works with clients on legal matters that don’t necessarily have anything to do with the dead, but for which his dynamically intuitive background makes him privy to information that may not be available in otherwise traditional ways. He currently lives in the Colorado mountains with his canine family where he’s at work on several writing projects.

Vanessa Gardner

Vanessa Gardner is an avid horror film and book connoisseur with a passion for all things paranormal. Stemming from personal experience and natural curiosity, she has made it a point to keep an open mind when it comes to understanding this strange world of ours.  She currently lives in Southeastern Michigan where she works in the educational field.  In her free time, she enjoys writing short stories and spending time with her family and two dogs, Zeus and Roxy.

Kelly J. Wilson

I’m a 46 years old from N.W. Ga and I’ve always been interested in and a believer of the Paranormal, the scary and the strange.  I started writing short stories for friends, fun and personal use when I was young and I’m now trying to actually do something bigger with it. Writing is a passion as is making/writing music and painted/photographic art.  I hope my articles are entertaining, have something in them you may not have known before and give you a new perspective on the subject matter.

Melody Williams

I’m 31, recently married ( Vena is my actual last name now). I’ve been in love with everything paranormal since I was about four years old. I grew up in a really old big house that was on the trail of George Washington’s troops. I would later learn that the house had once been a brothel! Anyway, none of the local kids would come to the house because it was “haunted” so I spent most of my childhood playing in the barns and fields behind the house. One day my older cousin who was in his 20s at the time saw me playing with a little girl in a red dress. When I came home, I told my mom I had a new friend. She assumed it was an imaginary friend until my cousin asked who the little girl in the old looking red dress was. I spent everyday playing with my friend never thinking anything different. Sadly we moved when I was ten, I searched for her to say goodbye and never found her. The house burnt down when I was 14, I went to look at what was left and it felt so weird. When I was there it always felt like I was never alone, but now it had this odd peaceful empty feeling. One of my relatives has a picture taken of the house where she swears you can see the little girl in the window waving goodbye. Ever since then I’ve been hooked, I go to haunted locations as often as possible.

Pete Miller

Raised as a Pentecostal in small town Texas, I first experienced the paranormal in the form of miraculous healings and speaking in tongues. As a gospel musician who began branching out into secular music aka “the Devil’s music,” I began having spiritual experiences outside of the church. Soon I discovered the power of qigong and meditation.
Being first and foremost a skeptic of astrology, my astrology obsessed friends taught me the characteristics of signs until I was able to guess people’s signs with a high degree of accuracy. Upon investigation, I found that the pedagogy of astrology can span from rigidly scientific to an intuitive art. Having a peculiar chart myself, I began to study the charts of other people and events. What I thought would be a weeks worth of study has turned into half a decade of self-discovery that has offered the unexpected side effect of great insight and empathy into others’ lives.
Jada Hunt
My name is Jada Hunt, and I am many things besides just my name. I am a writer, I am a paranormal fanatic, I am a Witch, I am involved in more than I understand yet. I grew up with a secret paranormal interest, but I was a bit too scared to act on it. My paranormal interest, as scary as it sounds, started out with Ouija Boards. I never used one, of course, but I would get online and read stories of the experiences that others had. After I entered high school, I knew I was different, and I started experiencing events that could not be explained. Ever since, I have been trying to learn all I can.

One of the biggest things that pulled me into the paranormal though, at the end of the day, was the things I had around me. I have many things, like at least eight. They follow me, some guiding me and some trying to mislead me. They are all parts of my past that I am slowly trying to sew together, before something happens. I also continue my work for my family who have been unfairly treated by those against the paranormal and witches. I am related to Elizabeth Proctor from the Salem Witch Trials, along with Sarah Good by marriage. Even before then, my family history involved people being accused of witchcraft.

I am Jada Hunt, but I am more than just my name and my life now.

Waylon Jordan

I suppose I should introduce myself, as well!  My name is Waylon Jordan and I’m not only a writer here at, but I’m also the content editor.  I suppose I’ve always been interested in the paranormal from the time I was a small child.  I was the kid who always wanted to hear the ghost stories when my cousins and I were together.  I always wanted to hear about the house that was supposedly haunted.  I always wanted to know about aliens and Bigfoot and anything that was out of the ordinary.

As I grew older, I begin to realize that I could, indeed, see the spirits around me and I began to actively work on advancing my psychic gifts.  Today I do a great deal of energy work, readings, chakra balancing and alignments, as well as consulting for investigative groups.  I believe that there is so much more to this universe.  We have barely scratched the surface and I work tirelessly to dig deeper.
