The Houghton Mansion was built by Albert Charles Houghton in the 1890s.  The wealthy owner of Albert Print Works was the first mayor of North Adams, Massachusetts.  He and his family moved into the home in 1900.  In 1914, however, Mr. Houghton and his daughter Mary, along with some family friends, were involved in a terrible car accident.  Mary died that afternoon and Mr. Houghton died several days later.

In 1926, the home was sold to the Freemasons and has served as a Masonic temple to this day, and it is believed to be haunted by the spirits of Albert, Mary, and their chauffeur John Widders.  A host of phenomena has been recorded including disembodied voices, shadow figures, and the apparition of a little girl in the basement.

The event is slated for July 8th and 9th, 2017. and there are only 30 spots open.  There will also be a holistic/psychic fair taking place on the 8th as a lead in to the investigation that evening.  Ticket holders will also be treated to a meet and greet with Lucky, Elizabeth, and Hans and will take part in the investigation that goes from 9pm to 2am .

A portion of the proceeds from the $135 ticket price will be contributed to the Houghton Mansion and there are still vendor spots open for the holistic/psychic fair.
