Massachusetts–Quaker Cemetery

There are many places in Massachusetts where one can Home to the most famous witch hunts in the colonial days of America, Massachusetts has seen its share of phenomena.

But let’s take a look at Quaker Cemetery in Leicester.

Colloquially known as Spider Gates Cemetery, the cemetery is surrounded by a wall and in that wall are eight gates, each more haunted than the last.

At the first gate, you may only hear voices, but at the second they become more distinct.  By the time you reach the last gate, they say you can feel the dead brush against you as they pass by.

If that isn’t terrifying enough for you, visitors also often report seeing apparitions sitting atop their headstones or walking among the graves.

Michigan–Mackinac Island

They say that even in the Summer, Mackinac Island has cold spots; places where the warmth just doesn’t seep in, and no one is ultimately certain why that is.

Over 100 distinct apparitions have been reported, and range from Native Americans to solders.  One dashing young ghost is even known to flirt with the pretty girls who visit this beautiful tourist stop.
