Fans of “Ghost Adventures” wonder no more! Zak Bagans has confirmed new episodes of the wildly popular paranormal investigation series will be winging their way to Travel Channel in late March of 2017.
According to an article on Inquistr.com, Bagans also confirmed on Facebook that not only will there be new episodes, but that the crew will be working on something special for this season.
“Next week we head out to film a VERY SPECIAL Travel Channel Mini-series for all our Ghost Adventures fans,” Bagans said. “We will be filming for about a month non-stop, our most aggressive investigation mission ever!!! excited to reveal what this is all about very soon!”
Fans of the GA crew may also know that Zak hosts a separate show called “Deadly Possessions” in which he spotlights various iconic, haunted items from around the world. As an extension of the show, Bagans has built and is placing the finishing touches on a special Haunted Museum in Las Vegas that will house some of the featured items, as well as others that he has collected over the years.
Zak Bagans’ Haunted Museum resides in the historic Wengert House in Las Vegas, NV. Built in 1938, the unassuming Tudor style cottage seems hardly the perfect location for a haunted museum, but honestly it may work in his favor. One hardly has to stretch the imagination to picture Snow White stopping in to visit her seven former roommates only to discover that the inside of the home has been transformed into a tableaux of the weird and sometimes sinister.
Since its purchase, he has slowly converted each room into its own haunted vignette, displaying items that range from the creepy to the genuinely haunted. In previous interviews, Bagans said that he wanted each room to have its own energy and unique feel for guests so when news came of his latest addition, it was hardly a surprise.
Those who regularly tune in to “Deadly Posessions” may remember the strange case of Peggy the Doll. Peggy is said to be possessed by the spirit of a woman who died of “chest issues” that some have related to asthma. It is believed that even looking at Peggy via digital video can cause chest pains, headaches, and a variety of other symptoms while others have claimed to see her in strange nightmares after a viewing.
Bagans does not take Peggy’s place in the museum for granted, however. He has already said that she will be in a separated area and that guests will have to sign a waiver before seeing the infamous doll.
What do you think, Paranormal Investigating fans? Are you ready for another season of “Ghost Adventures”? And would you risk the possible side effects from seeing Peggy the Doll? Leave us a comment and let us know!
